There was one bug in the previous build (the mouse-cursor-visible-onscreen bug) that was so annoying, I decided to upload a new build so that you don’t have to live with it anymore.
Of course, there are also a handful of other adjustments/fixes in the latest build, too. To see a list of everything else that changed, scroll down past this beautiful-yet-sorrowful artwork of Otohiko drawn by Cherry!
Improvements
- Swapped out Kataba’s old character model for a new one. You can’t really see the difference because she’s quite far away from the camera, but if I implement the “every week, family members are standing in different places around the house doing different things” feature, then there will definitely be times when you see her much more closely.
- Adjusted the volume levels of Ayano and Info-chan’s voice lines of their “after Osana has been eliminated” conversation.
- Mantaro’s likes/dislikes didn’t match his character traits/personality, so a couple of them have been changed.
- Replaced the models for cardboard boxes in the school environment.
Fixes
- Because Week 3 is not in the game yet, it’s not meant to be possible for the player to load into Week 3. For this reason, loading your save file after watching the “Info-chan tells Ayano about Kizana” cutscene is supposed to send you back into that cutscene. However, due to a bug, loading that save would play a cutscene from Week 1, instead. This bug has been fixed.
- If the player stood in a very specific location in the Drama Club and performed a series of actions involving crouching/standing and entering/exiting first-person mode repeatedly, it would be possible to clip through some of the scenery and get stuck. This bug is no longer possible.
- If the player entered the “Animation List” in Pose Mode, their mouse cursor would become visible onscreen so that they could click the Search Bar. However, their mouse cursor would remain onscreen permanently afterwards, even after exiting that list. This bug has been fixed.
- If the player designed a Custom Mode playthrough involving a custom uniform texture, pressed “Save” at the main Custom Mode menu, and then pressed “Load” in that same menu, the game would forget to put students into a custom uniform. This bug has been fixed.
- If the player attempted to push a student with “Invincible” Strength into the freezer room, a struggle would begin, even if the player didn’t meet the criteria to have that struggle. This bug has been fixed.
- In the cutscene where Info-chan warns Ayano about Amai, one of Info-chan’s text messages did not match the corresponding voice line. This oversight has been corrected.
- In Custom Mode, if the player assigned hairstyle #218 to a student, the incorrect hairstyle would appear once at school. This bug has been fixed.
- Some of the photo display stands in the Photography Club were using the wrong model/texture. This oversight has been corrected.
- Some of the school environments models were accidentally turned invisible in the last build. This oversight has been corrected.
- After Amai’s hair model got updated, her hair clip accessory started floating in midair. This oversight has been corrected.
