It’s Spooky Month! In honor of Halloween, a new design has been added to the Yandere Simulator Crowdmade store:
(It’s the first merch ever added to my story that will have interior branding – the Yandere Simulator logo will be on the inside of the shirt!)
This design is special, because it’s going to be available in two forms: the regular form seen above, and also a glow-in-the-dark version!
WooOOooOOooOOooOOoo, extra spooky!
If you’re interested in these shirts, there are two things you should be aware of:
- Because of production delays, the glow-in-the-dark version won’t become available for sale until October 10th.
- If you’d like to order the glow-in-the-dark shirt and have it arrive before October 31st, you’ll need to order it before October 11th.
That gives you a one-day window if you want to celebrate Halloween in style. Please keep that in mind!
By the way – for any merch that is not a glow-in-the-dark print, Crowdmade now has “global manufacturing”, which means that when you order something, it’s built in your country (or nearby your country) and then shipped to you. This means that if you live outside of the USA, shipping costs are now lower for you than they were before, and the merch you order will be shipped to you faster, too!

Merch-Shyness
If you’ve been watching my videos and reading my blog posts for a long time, you’ve probably noticed something – I almost never mention merch, ever. The last time I mentioned merchandise on my blog was October 5th, 2022. And the time before that was March 22nd, 2021. And the time before that was June 15th, 2020!
As you can see, I don’t feel comfortable mentioning merchandise (or directing people to my online store) more than once per year, and I sometimes go for more than a full year without mentioning merch at all. This is because I’m deathly afraid of being perceived as greedy, or being perceived as someone who is “only in it for the money.” It takes a lot of courage for me to click the “Publish” button on any blog post that mentions merch.
So, please, I’m begging you, don’t get mad at this blog post. “That’s the announcement?! A shirt?! He’s so greedy!!” Come on, I only mention merch once per year. Please allow me to make one post about merch without trying to make me feel guilty about it.
On that note…
The Delay
I genuinely thought that the regular design and glow-in-the-dark design were both going to be made available on October 1st. When they were delayed, I thought it would only be by one day. I didn’t think that the regular shirt would get delayed multiple days, or that the glow-in-the-dark version would get delayed for another week. This was out of my hands.
In the future, I’ll try to use vague and non-specific wording when talking about future events: “I’ve been told that I might be able to announce something within the next few days, but if an unexpected delay occurs, please be patient” – instead of being as specific as “within the next 24 hours.”
By the way, I’d like to ask you to please keep something in mind. Just because I say “I’ll be announcing and releasing something special within the next 24 hours!” please don’t expect an earth-shattering, life-changing bombshell to be dropped. Sometimes an announcement is going to be as simple as a merch drop. It might not be special to you, but it’s special to me, since it’s something I only do once a year out of fear of backlash.

The Characters page of the Official Yandere Simulator Website has been updated with a new character profile, along with new “Driven To Murder” artwork for some of the rivals. Please check it out!
