In Yandere Sim, Ryoba adopts the “Ryoba” pose. She apprehends anyone who commits murder, approaches her with a weapon, carries a corpse, or is covered in blood by spraying them with pepper spray and then restraining them. Additionally, Ryoba must administer sedatives to her rival's bento. Once I've optimized the game as much as possible, I'll evaluate the improvement in framerate to determine if I can add more students to the game. There are specific protocols for students attempting to revive unconscious classmates and for teachers who discover an unconscious student during their rounds.
There is also a protocol in place for when Yandere-chan is punished, expelled, or arrested for assaulting someone, even non-lethally. If the player defeats a rival without causing them to be expelled or sent to jail, the rival will continue attending school in the following days/weeks. If the player didn't take lewd pictures, they will see images of the East Fountain and be praised for their photography skills while walking home together. Regardless of the time chosen to leave school, Yandere-chan always watches the player go home until they reach their destination safely. Moreover, the player may need to enter a cheat code at the main menu to enable the use of easter eggs or supernatural events.
Each of these situations would involve the creation of new animations, voiced lines, and code. However, currently, I am only considering features that introduce one or two new scenarios. Having the ability to render someone unconscious at any time and location would result in a plethora of new scenarios. Pressing Q while pushing someone off the rooftop would activate a second camera to show where the body lands. If the player eliminates a rival early, they will be given the choice to proceed to the next week or continue playing through the current week. If a rival is eliminated on Monday, what happens for the rest of the week? By using this cheat code and activating an easter egg, the player will not be able to earn any achievements and will receive a “non-canon” joke ending.
It is dishonest to portray YandereDev as a bad programmer using screenshots of code that no longer exists in the game or has already been rewritten and optimized a long time ago. However, when Yandere Simulator is finally completed, I may be tired of Japanese school settings and never want to create a similar game again.
