Yandere Simulator has gained a dedicated following due to its unique gameplay concept and captivating storyline. While Assassin’s Creed focuses on player flexibility, Yandere Simulator offers a different kind of gameplay experience. So, what exactly is the gameplay like in Yandere Simulator? Well, it revolves around Yandere characters and their cliches, which are popular for a reason. Whether it’s the college setting or the intriguing characters like Mida and Muja, Yandere Simulator keeps players hooked.
Before the events of Week 1, Osana and Senpai were close childhood friends. They would spend time together, meeting in the morning and having lunch together every school day. During the game, players may come across Megami Saikou on the laptop or see her at the end of the day sequence if a student council member is killed. As part of the “Expulsion” elimination method, Ayano can frame Osana for vandalizing school property. Violent eliminations show Osana lying dead in a pool of blood, with Ayano holding a bloody knife instead of a love letter behind her back. For example, befriending Osana will make her appear on the title screen holding her cat. The title screen also features a scrolling view of the school’s bloodied hallway, revealing Ayano Aishi holding Osana Najimi’s decapitated head. Osana is considered one of the most dangerous girls in school, next to Ayano Aishi. If you want to dress up like “Yan-chan” or Ayano Aishi, there’s a costume guide available to help you achieve the look.
If Ayano damages the guide, it will disappoint Senpai, and he will walk home alone. If Osana’s phone gets stolen, Senpai will hear the audio and become angry, causing him to return to his class while Osana eats lunch alone. Osana follows a routine that often puts her near Senpai or other students, although the details of her routine are currently unknown.
Throughout the game, players will experience various events involving Osana. For instance, at 4:11 PM, Osana will take a nap on the rooftop to avoid falling asleep during a movie, with Raibaru sitting next to her to ensure no one bothers her. At 1:03 PM, Osana and Raibaru can be seen sunbathing by the pool with the bullies. At 5:21 PM, Osana will present a photograph to Senpai. In the morning at 7:15 AM, Osana and Musume will discuss Osana’s stalker, whom she mistakenly believes to be her boyfriend. Later, at 7:00 AM, Osana asks Senpai why he spends all his time in the plaza, and she also asks him if he would like to go to the movies with her after school.
Osana holds a special place in Hanako’s heart, as she is the only person Hanako would be willing to “give” Senpai to since she doesn’t see her as competition, a threat, or an enemy. However, using the befriending elimination method on Osana will cause her to no longer interact with Senpai. She realizes that many other girls also love Senpai, so she takes it upon herself to get them out of the way!
In Yandere Simulator, players take on the role of the protagonist and have five days each week to eliminate all the girls before they can confess their love to Senpai on Fridays. Osana’s character type falls under the trope of Patient Childhood Love Interest. The game’s story revolves around the protagonist receiving an invitation to join the literature club at his high school from a childhood friend. The game effectively captures the atmosphere of being in high school, and players need to maintain the facade of an innocent school girl while planning and plotting. So, are you ready to master the art of Yandere Simulator?
