Inspired by Chinese mythology, Yandere Chan is based on the “Black Tortoise” (玄武, read as Genbu) deity. Similar to Yandere Chan's obsession with her Senpai, which drives her to commit extreme actions like murdering other girls who come between them, the gameplay revolves around doing whatever it takes to achieve one's goals, even if it means killing fellow students. Yandere Chan's character is the Vice President of the Student Council and previously served as its President.
In terms of her schedule, after patrolling the school premises in the morning, Yandere Chan returns to the Student Council Room at 4:00 PM and remains there for the rest of the day. At 3:30 PM, a conversation between Osana and her friend Raibaru takes place regarding a phone call Osana had with her stalker. Yandere Chan then returns to her class at 1:22 PM, sits at her desk, and continues playing with her phone until afternoon classes commence at 1:30 PM. Afterward, she attends classes and carries out various tasks assigned to her. Kuroko, another character in the game, leaves the Student Council Room at 7:00 AM to patrol all the rooms in the school, starting with the Infirmary. She attends morning lessons at 8:30 AM and patrols the school rooms again during lunch at 1:00 PM. If Kuroko is removed from the Student Council, she will have her lunch in the Student Council Room instead of patrolling, which provides an opportunity for the player to poison her.
