Originally, the development of Yandere Simulator started with the intention of quickly creating a proof-of-concept to pitch the game on Kickstarter. In the series, Makoto is a typical high school student who has a crush on Kotonoha Katsura. The Gardening Club, led by Uekiya Engeika, can be found here before morning classes. To access the supplies, the player needs to pickpocket the key from Uekiya Engeika, join the Gardening Club, or use a lockpick to open the shed door. The hill provides a flat surface for activities like the Art Club, which comes here on Fridays after school to paint pictures of the tree. Inside a locked case on the right side of the desk, there is a katana that can be opened with a key found nearby. Additionally, there is a cassette player where Ayano can listen to cassette tapes.
During 202X Mode, the Bullies spend their lunchtime sunbathing here. On Thursdays, Osana and Raibaru join them. The Hedge Maze is used for Osana's activity, where Ayano must retrieve her phone charm from the center of the maze. If you have asked the cooking club members to leave the school plaza, they will go to the hedge maze, making it easier to eliminate Amai Odayaka without witnesses. Lunar, a graphic designer, assists her siblings in creating banners. Some people have suggested using switch statements without considering architectural issues in this situation.
In Yandere Simulator, you play as a girl named Yandere-chan who is infatuated with a boy named Senpai. The Shower Rooms are located in separate buildings from the rest of the school, one for males and one for females. In one of the storage rooms in the building, there is a baseball bat and dumbbells, but using them is considered suspicious unless the player is a member of the Sports Club.
To complete Hazu Kashibuchi's task, Ayano can buy a drink from a vending machine and give it to him. When Ayano approaches Senpai, the screen turns red due to his aura, making her shy around him. Ryoba can also join the Martial Arts Club and participate in club activities. The Martial Arts Club often trains in the Japanese Gardens. In 202X Mode, the player can find five mysterious keys in the Drama, Martial Arts, Art, Photography, and Science clubs, which can be used to activate the Heartbreaker Easter Egg in the Science Club. In Week 2's Amai Challenge, if all the cooking club members' tasks are completed, they can be asked to leave the area for personal business. Every Friday, a rival confesses their love to Senpai, and Itachi Zametora substitutes for Asu Rito until the fifth week of gameplay.
In 202X Mode, Kaga Kusha is the leader, while Jiichiro Takahashi is the leader in the normal mode. Delinquents guard the incinerator from 7:15 AM to 8:30 AM and from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM. Similarly, they guard the dumpster during the same time periods. Ayano can place garbage bags in the dumpster to hide a body. The stage is used for memorial services when a student dies and a non-dismembered corpse is found. At present, the only purpose of the Audiovisual Room is to provide a distraction with a radio and a power strip that Ayano can use to electrocute a student.
