Every day, Ayano Aishi starts in her bedroom, while Ryoba's bedroom serves as the starting location in 1980s mode. In 1980s mode, Ryoba Aishi can invite her rivals over for tea and show them the burned photographs, although this is conveyed through text, not an actual cutscene like in 202X mode. The game features weekly rivals who are programmed to fall in love with Senpai. Throughout the day, Ayano has various options such as changing her panties, arranging photos and string on the corkboard, watching anime, browsing the internet, playing video games, sleeping, reading manga, or examining the items in the Senpai Shrine.
In 1980s mode, Ryoba also has options depending on the time of day, such as changing her panties, playing video games, sleeping or skipping the day entirely, reading manga, or viewing the Senpai Shrine. One feature allows Ayano to torture a victim for twelve hours, decreasing their sanity by 30%. This option completely skips the school day and ends when nighttime arrives. If the chosen student dies before the slave can reach them, or if the day ends without the slave being used, the slave will commit suicide. The next day, a student named Horuda will arrive at school with a knife and kill the student shown in the picture, along with herself. If a student with the Heroic persona witnesses Ayano attempting to kill or commit murder, they will automatically apprehend and attack her. Alternatively, Ayano/Ryoba can provide a saw to a mentally disabled student in earlier builds, but this option was removed. The player is able to torture the kidnapped student so that Ayano/Ryoba can use them as a mindslave who will clumsily walk towards the chosen student.
If a student notices Ayano holding a saw, her reputation will decrease by ten points in the high school environment. Ayano considers this student as the one who spread rumors and tarnished her reputation. Although this person may appear normal at first, they can quickly become the most formidable female you've ever seen. The saw cannot be concealed in Ayano Aishi's inventory and is seen as suspicious. At this point, Ayano's chosen student and mindslave have been eliminated without leaving any evidence. Once a student is killed, Ayano can carry, drag, or dispose of the body. However, the saw cannot be used in close quarters against a heroic student or a teacher, as it is too unwieldy. When Ayano has low sanity, she forcefully pushes the student to the ground and drives the saw into their chest.
